The 15th Annual Big Bang 5K is contested on the flat fast roads along the golf course and fancy houses of Ponte Vedra Beach.

RACE DATE AND TIME Saturday, June 29, 2024 5K at 8:00 am. The One Mile Fun Run will start at 9am
Location Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Dr and Solana Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach 32082
Entry Fee ADULTS: $30 until WED June 19, 2024, at 12 midnight. $35 from June 20 to June 28, 2024 at 6pm. Race day entry is $40, cash or check only.
5k Children 14 and under are $15 early and $18 late entry
The One mile Fun Run is $12 and includes a shirt and medal for early registrations
Ponte Vedra and Fernandina Beach HS cross Country teams entry fee is $15 early and $18 late entry

COURSE Run San Juan Rd north approximately 1.4 miles, U turn before San Juan Circle and head back. Turn right onto Pablo Rd and follow it back to San Juan. Turn right and sprint for home.

TIMING The race will be timed and scored by Jaguar Timing Systems electronic bib tag. Your entry fee covers the cost of the disposable chip which does not need to be returned. Bib MUST be worn on the front chest to be scored electronically. Please do not fold the microprocessor.
PACKET PICK UP Pre Race Packet pick up will be held on FRIDAY at Christ Episcopal Church from 4 pm to 6 pm
Race Day packet pick up begins at 7 am. Please arrive early to avoid long lines.
AWARDS First Place Overall male and female and First Place Masters male and female
AGE GROUP AWARDS OVERALL Male and Female will receive an RTIC Day Cooler. MASTERS MALE AND FEMALE RUNNERS WILL RECEIVE A 30 OZ RTIC TUMBLER (pictured below)
Age Group Awards (20 oz tumbler) will go to TOP TWO in each award category.

DIRECTIONS
From Butler Blvd: Take JTB to the end and drive south on A1A approximately 1.9 miles. Turn Left on Solana Rd and drive a quarter mile. Christ Episcopal Church is on your left.
From CR 210: Take 210 east to the end. Turn left onto A1A and drive 2.3 miles north to Solana Rd. Turn right, drive ¼ mile to Church
